#3 Use an elastic headband for a new twist

#4 Put hairspray in your hands instead of spraying it directly to your hair

Hairspray can stiffen your hair if sprayed directly on. To avoid stiffening your hair and creating unnatural look, spray it in your hand instead and run it through you hair. Little hairspray will be used but it will still provide the right coverage.

#16 Use Hair Chalks!

Buy some hair chalks online and get ready for a very fun hair experiment. Ready your water bottle, gloves, towels and iron. If your hair is a bit darker, spritz in some water to your hair. Then get a little piece of your hair, twist it and start applying the chalk. Later on, you can straighten or curl it. In fact the heat will help the chalk stay longer. You can air dry it or blow dry too. See the simple tutorial of application here. And the good thing is, it doesn’t have to be just for girls, guys can steal this style too.

#17 Use old T-shirt for Heatless Curls

Cut a t-shirt into long strips. Make it wide for wider curls and smaller if you want tiny curls. After you’ve done the strips, get ready do do your curls. Dampen your hair first. Put the ends of your hair in the center of the strip and roll it upward either to the middle or right up to the roots. Then tie them up. It’s good to leave these for several hours to set in. OR, do it the night before, sleep on it and remove the t shirt strips the next morning. Run your fingers through your curls to loosen them and add in some hair spray for hold. Here’s a tutorial:
